Road closures will be carried out around the M4 and A419 in the coming days.
A lane on the M4 westbound between junctions 15 and 16 will be closed from 10pm on Thursday night to 6am on Friday morning for drainage works, causing delays of less than 10 minutes for drivers.
The Royal International Air Tattoo will close part of the A419 southbound from Latton to Cricklade from 3am on Friday to 8pm on Sunday, with a lane one closure in place at the chicane to lane two. This is expected to add between 10 and 30 minutes to motorists’ journeys.
During the same timeframe, all central reservation gaps on the A419 northbound and southbound carriageways at Freeths Recycling, Castle Eaton and Widhill Farm will be closed, causing similar delays.
Towards the end of the month, the hard shoulder of the M4 eastbound will be closed between junctions 15 and 16 from 9pm on July 29 to 4pm on August 5 so that horticultural works can be carried out.
One lane of the M4 westbound between junctions 14 and 15 will be closed from 8pm on July 29 to 6am on July 30 for technology work.
These partial motorway closures should cause delays of no more than 10 minutes.
