McFly’s Tom Fletcher will be among the celebrities making their way to RAF Fairford for the Royal International Air Tattoo.
Over 150,000 spectators will be travelling to the airfield, near Swindon, between Friday, July 19 and Sunday, July 21, for one of the biggest events in the aviation calendar.
This will include a host of famous faces, including Tom Fletcher, one of the lead vocalists and rhythm guitarist in McFly, who will be giving a talk on the Inspire Stage.
Speaking on Instagram ahead of the event he said: “I’ll be at the amazing air tattoo this year, I’ll be having a chat on the Inspire Stage on Saturday, July 20, and enjoying the incredible flying and ground displays.

“Can’t wait. It’s genuinely one of the highlights of my year.”
Tom told his followers he had a “passion” for aviation, was in the Air Cadets in his youth, and even got his pilot’s licence.
After being a regular visitor to the air tattoo for several years, he has been asked to host a talk about his experiences of flying, writing book and music, and other topics.
Tom will be one of many speakers on the stage across the weekend, while attendees will also be treated to 18 hours of aerial displays.
