A man has been hospitalised after a car crash in Gorse Hill, while police are still searching for a bike rider thought to be involved.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance attended the scene but is unable to give details as the incident is ongoing.
At around 1.30pm on Friday (July 19) police were called to a crash on Cricklade Road between a car and a bike, thought to be a motorbike.
Pictures show a silver car with damage to its front after the crash, reported by an eyewitness to have happened near Hawthorne Pharmacy.
While a man was taken to hospital for injuries reported as not life-threatening, a search for the rider is ongoing.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called to a collision in Cricklade Road Swindon, shortly before 1.30pm today involving a car and a bike.
“A male has been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Enquiries are currently ongoing to locate the rider involved.
“Any info should be reported to 101 and quote log number 154 of today.”

Cricklade Road is reported as closed as of 3pm, with two ambulances and multiple police vehicles at the scene.
Swindon Buses are diverting via Cirencester Way to avoid the road.
South Western Ambulance Service were contacted for further details.
