A crowd of people gathered to watch Wiltshire Air Ambulance's helicopter after it landed near them.
The emergency response aircraft landed on John White's field in Gayton Way on Sunday evening at around 7.45pm.
The two paramedics were immediately picked up by a police car with blue lights and taken to a nearby medical emergency.
The pilot, who stayed behind with the helicopter, was then greeted by a large crowd of people with curious and in-awe children.
A while later just before 9pm, the air ambulance paramedics returned without a patient.
The field was then cleared of all people while the air ambulance's rotors started to spin and eventually, it took off.
