A Jaguar car was stolen from a Swindon address in the early hours before being dumped nearby.
At around 3.30am on July 17, the white car was take from Oliver Road in Abbey Meads. It was found shortly afterwards by police officers and the Roads Policing Team.
Police say that when they found the car, the suspect had left the scene. The force is appealing for witnesses.
A Wiltshire Police statement reads: “We are appealing for witnesses following a high value vehicle theft on Oliver Road, Abbey Meads in the early hours of July 17 .
"A white Jaguar was taken around 3.30am but was located shortly by response officers and the Roads Policing Unit. Unfortunately, the suspect had vacated the vehicle."
