A Tesco store in Swindon has reopened on time after it was closed for a month-long refurbishment.
Shoppers were informed about the closure when a poster was put up in the doorway of the Abbey Meads Tesco Express, saying the store would be closed from June 22 and advising customer's to head to Priory Vale for their nearest Tesco store in the meantime.
The advertised reopening date was July 22 and the store welcomed customers back at the usual opening time of 6am.
One of the brand new features includes a different shop floor layout to maximise the use of the space inside the convenience store.
A spokesperson for Tesco said: “Our Abbey Meads Express is now open and welcoming customers after a refresh to install more environmentally friendly fridges to help us in our goal of lowering emissions from our stores.
"The store also has a new and improved shop floor layout and new fixtures."
Last year, both the Liden and Freshbrook stores were both closed for a similar amount of time for a refit and reopened on time.
The store is still operating with the opening hours of 6am to 10pm Monday to Sunday.
