One driver in Swindon had to walk home after having their car seized by police.
Members of Wiltshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Team were on patrol in town when they came across a vehicle being driven by a man.
After pulling the car over, officers realised that he had committed a number of road traffic offences amassing 12 points on his license.
Making matters even worse was the fact that the license in question was only a provisional license, and it had also expired.
The decision was made to seize the vehicle from the driver, who had been caught illegally behind the wheel twice previously.
The incident was posted on the Wiltshire Specialist Ops X/Twitter page, which provides regular updates on the county's Roads Policing Unit and Armed Response Group.
The full post said: "Serious Collision Investigation Team on patrol in Swindon located this vehicle being driven by a male who is already on 12 points and an expired provisional. Not to mention the third time he’s been caught! That sort of action sees this vehicle seized, driver reported and a Saturday morning stroll home!"
