Swindon and Wiltshire Pride is set to return to the streets this August with Cheeky Girls, Drag Race stars and West End wonders.
Swindon Pride will kick off the celebrations in style on August 10 with a jam-packed day for all the family.
The event will be celebrating its 16th year at GWR Park after two years in Queens Park, but will still bring the same food, fun and fantastic performances as ever before.
Although it's completely free to attend, you will need a ticket.
The Pride march itself will kick off the day meeting at 11am in the space outside Regents Circus and at 11.30am, the march will make its way through town, heading towards the Town Hall and finishing in GWR Park.
The route is fully accessible but will be loud so those with sensitive hearing may want ear defenders.
Highlights in this year's entertainment lineup (running from 12-8pm) include a performance by The Cheeky Girls, Cheryl from Canada's Drag Race and Britain's Got Talent's Fayth Ifill.
West End Star Aimie Atkinson who is best known for playing Katherine Howard in Six the Musical's original UK tour cast will also take to the stage, followed by the UK's best Taylor Swift tribute act Katy Ellis.
For those more interested in food and drink, locals can browse a wide range of food and drink stalls including Chinese street food, sausage rolls, pastries and pies, mac-n-cheese, burgers and sweet chocolatey treats.
Every purchase made at the Pride bar will also go towards supporting the 2025 event.
“Diversity is at the heart of everything we do, and that extends to our food and drink with vegan and vegetarian options on the menu," said Marketplace Manager James Fraser.
“Our marketplace is always a popular part of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, and this year we have double the number of stalls we had in 2023.
"As well as our expanded Food & Drink offerings, we have over 75 other stalls organised into four zones: Shopping & Businesses, Community & Organisations, Health & Support Services, and the Youth Zone, together with our Pride Sponsors and Partners, who help ensure the event remains free-to-attend.”
Fairground rides and circus skills will also be available for children in the park all afternoon, and shoppers at the Pride Hub in Regent Circus will be able to find all the event's merch and memorabilia.
The entire event will draw to a close by 8pm and will be followed by an afterparty for over 18s at Boom Battle Bar.
