Police are appealing for witnesses after two people were spotted running from a car fire.
The fire, reported by the Adver on Thursday, took place around 6pm on July 24 on William Morris Way, Swindon.
Police say that two people were reported to have been seen running away from the scene.
An eyewitness reported the same. He said: “I saw two people running down the road. But they did not look dressed for running.
“And then I went round the corner and saw the red Vauxhall on fire.”
He added: “The car was just starting to pop as the fire brigade arrived. I was trying to stop people from going closer.
“It did start to go up. I was concerned the fuel tank was going to go.”
