A new nursery is opening in Swindon.
Lots of little ones will join Curious Learners Childcare on Elstree Way in Abbey Meads this summer.
This expansion comes following the government’s announcement of new funding for nine-month-olds and two-year-olds.
Director and owner Magdalena Wowkotrub said she was excited to share the news and cater to one of the highest-demand areas in the region.
Magdalena added: “We are proud to have already filled the available spaces, predominantly with 9-month-old children who are entitled to the new funding provisions, demonstrating the immediate impact of this initiative.
“The decision to open a new nursery is a direct response to Swindon Borough Council's efforts to assess demands in various areas and encourage the creation of additional childcare spaces.
“While we await the government grant to support the establishment of these new spaces, we are diligently working to ensure that our new nursery meets the highest standards of childcare excellence.”
The mayor, area MP and local councillors will attend an open day on Saturday, August 3, from 1pm to 4pm, where families can look around the nursery and learn more about how its staff will create a nurturing environment for the children in their care.
