A man in his 20s was found dead at an address in Highworth over the weekend.
Police and paramedics attended a property on Station Road for several hours on Sunday.
They were first called at around 9.30am on July 28. By 5pm, two police patrol cars, two crime scene investigation vans, a scientific investigation van, and a private ambulance were still at the scene.
By 7pm, most of the emergency vehicles had left the area, with one police car remaining near the address.
Later that evening, police confirmed the reason for the call.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "At approximately 9.30am, officers were called to an address in Swindon Road, Highworth, following the death of a man in his 20s.
"His family has been informed and our thoughts are with them.
"The investigation is at the very early stages and the death is currently being treated as unexplained. Enquiries continue."
