Thousands of bikers made their way to a Wiltshire town for one of Europe’s largest free motorcycle events.
The Calne Bike Meet saw huge crowds visit the town on Saturday, July 27, for the annual event.
Since 2000 the bike meet has been a popular date in the town’s calendar, after it was established by two local bike enthusiasts and rotary club members.
Once again, the meet drew many bikers to the area with thousands of riders due to attend on a range of vehicles ahead of the event.
This year, organisers paid tribute to Howard Marshall, an avid supporter of Calne Bike Meet who died in 2023.

Howard had been a part of the event since 2004 and became chairman in 2005, before Friends of Calne Bike Meet was established eight years later.
During that time, organisers say the bike meet put Calne “on the map”, in part thanks to Howard’s “enthusiasm and commitment”.
This year his love of music was recognised by naming the stage, where an exciting line-up of bands performed throughout the day, The Howard Marshall Stage.
As well as a day of music, attendees had the chance to admire the array of bikes on display and take part in a ride out around North Wiltshire.
