Drivers are being warned about four upcoming road closures in Swindon, some of which are expected to cause delays of up half an hour.
The first road closure to start this week is on the M4 eastbound between junction 16 and 15, where motorists can expect slight delays of up to ten minutes, due to the hard shoulder being closed for horticultural works.
This work will be ongoing until 4pm on Monday, August 5.
Moderate delays – between 10 and 30 minutes – are expected on the M4 westbound from 9pm August 1 to 6am August 2, as junctions 15 to 16 will be closed for technology works.
There will also be a diversion in place via the A419, A4259 and A3102 to M4, junction 16.
Additionally, from 9pm on August 7 to 6am on August 8, drivers can expect slight delays on the M4 westbound, junction 16, due to lane closures for electrical works.
Finally, there are likely to be moderate delays of up to half an hour on the A419 from 8pm August 12 to 6am August 13 on the M4 eastbound from junction 15 to junction 14, due to a carriageway closure for electrical work.
