Two XL Bullies remain in police kennels as the court case involving their owner continues.
Mark Yule, of Dogridge, Purton, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a fighting dog at Swindon Magistrates Court on Tuesday (July 30).
The charges came after two XL Bully breeds - a male dog named Zeus and a female named Lexi - were found to be in the custody of the 33-year-old in April this year.
The dogs were seized by Wiltshire Police had have been kept in police kennels since.
Both the prosecution and the defence asked for the case to be adjourned so that police could compile a pre-sentence report detailing the behaviour and temperament of the seized dogs.
The crown prosecutor said there were "no concerns about bitch that was seized, but there are some concerns about dog, so the court will need to decide if the dog needs to be destroyed or returned to the defendant".
Yule's defence counsel said: "The main concern for [the defendant] is that when we come to the point of sentence, ancillary orders can include destruction of the dogs, he will want the sentencing bench fully equipped with the relevant information before a decision is made that will make a significant impact on him."
Magistrates agreed to adjourn the case until September 2 for the report to be produced.
