One of Swindon town centre's nightlife destinations has confirmed its closure.
A notice has been put outside The Wyvern Tavern on Bridge Street letting people know that its doors are closed.
The notice suggests that the closure has been caused by a "change in management" and that the venue will likely reopen in the future.
The notice said: "Due to a change of management we shall be closed until further notice while we make some rearrangements to the venue.
"Sorry for any inconvenience.
"We hope to see you again when we open."
The note was finished with a smiley face.
The Wyvern Tavern was recently included in a Swindon Advertiser list of ten best pubs for a pub crawl in Swindon, but locals will now need to find another venue to add to the list, at least in the meantime.
The pub underwent a £200,000 renovation in 2019.
Peter Sadler ran the pub when it used to be a Yates' before this and continued as general manager after the renovations.
It is not yet known who will be running the venue in the future.
