An Old Town restaurant has closed suddenly just weeks after another on the same street shut its doors.
Hot on the heels of a long-standing Chinese restaurant Connie's, its neighbouring venue has also stopped trading.
The Pick Up Point, on Devizes Road, Old Town, is now listed as permanently closed on Google and its website is no longer active.
Photos taken at the building this week show that the relatively new eatery which only opened in October 2021, has already been completely ripped out, with debris and household waste outside.
It is not known at this time why the restaurant, which had been reviewed well with an average score of 4.8 from 117 reviews on Google, has closed.
It had been described by one reviewer as "the ultimate burger experience in Swindon."
Another said it provided them the "best burger I have ever had".
Josh West - the mastermind behind the restaurant and head chef - previously plied his trade at The Hop pub nearby but decided to have a go at starting his restaurant.
When he opened the venture in 2021, he said: "I wanted to bring great food, and I mean really great food, to Swindon so here we are."
