A new furniture shop in Swindon opened its doors for the first time earlier this week.
Prospect Hospice's Home and Furniture Store on Hobley Drive opened at 10am on Monday (July 29).
Geared towards affordability and sustainability, the shop offers a range of second-hand furniture and homeware from dining sets to sofas.
It is the latest addition to the hospice's collection of charity shops.
Across north east Wiltshire and Swindon, the hospice operates 18 charity shops, all contributing significantly to their funds.
Each year, the shops raise approximately £2 million to help with the care and support it provides to people in the community.
Victoria Canavan, head of retail at Prospect Hospice, said: "This is a very exciting time for the hospice, and we’re so happy to able to offer our customers an impressive range of furniture and homeware at great prices.
"There’s something for everyone and every purchase will help our doctors, nurses, family support, and catering staff provide care and support to local people at the most difficult time."
She also thanked the hospice's supporters for their donations.
She continued: "I’d also like to thank our supporters for all the incredible donations that we have received over the last few months.
"Their generosity is second to none and we couldn’t do what we do without them."
The opening on July 29 served as an opportunity for customers to hunt for pre-loved treasures and support the charity.
The store is open from 10am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
The charity said the shop "welcomes all", "whether you’re searching for that statement piece to complete your living room or simply want to browse and support a local charity".
Prospect Hospice provides end of life care to people 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and has been rated ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.
Founded in 1980, it provides all of its services free of charge to patients, which is made possible by donations from the community it serves, which raises 75 per cent of the £8million it costs each year to operate.
Patient support is delivered in a variety of ways, tailored to the needs of the individual.
Specialist teams provide clinical, emotional and practical support to patients and their families delivered at the hospice in Wroughton, Swindon, and in people’s homes.
