A mum-of-four from Swindon who set up the UK’s first portable grazing bar says her business is going from strength to strength.
And Hannah Webb is excited about showcasing The Little Grazey at upcoming summer market events.
Hannah grew up in Gorse Hill and started running her business from home in January 2022 when the response via social media was bigger than she had anticipated.
Shortly afterwards, she opened a shop and café on Cricklade Road – an area she used to walk past everyday on the way to school.
She said: “People just love it. It’s all going really well, we’re now doing more private and corporate events and office pop-ups.
“We’ve been travelling to London the past few weeks and bringing portable grazing bowls to people. Our selection of cheeses have been quite popular in particular.
“I started the business because I wanted something flexible around my children. My third child was always very poorly with chest infections, so I needed something that would fit around raising them.
“Luckily it took off quicker than I expected it to and it’s been bigger than I could have ever expected.”
She closed her shop in October 2023 due to the demand, where Hannah and her staff would often prepare food from 4am to cater for hundreds of people, alongside running the shop.
When she tried to reopen in January, she was forced to close as there was no hot water, and she finally opened the shop back up on January 9.
Since then, Hannah says the business is thriving but its focus has shifted slightly.
It has catered for the likes of River Island, Glamour Magazine, RSM, Branston Pickle, Ferrari, Porsche, ITV News and a number of influencers.
Hannah said: “I really want to focus on bringing a different offering to Swindon, I enjoy catering for the big events that make me feel nervous and we’re focusing on that.
"The shop is closed and only open at certain times at the moment. It’s carnage during the summer holidays with four children. There will not be any other shops opening anytime soon.
“We do event boxes and during the summer we’ve got special deals on bridal breakfasts for 20 per cent off. We can cater for all kinds of parties.
“We’ve also got The Food Space on Aspen Close at Kembrey Park and we will be at the Eclectic Market this weekend.”
More information about opening times and events can be found on The Little Grazey's social media pages.
