A disqualified and uninsured driver is said to have lied to police officers about his identity after being pulled over in Swindon.
Roads policing officers stopped a white Volkswagen Golf GTI on Tuesday afternoon and an officer recognised the driver.
But the driver did not seem to recognise the officer and they provided false details, only to be instantly caught out.
A Wilts Specialist Ops social media post said: “The officer recognised the driver and the truth came out."
The driver was reported for being disqualified, having no insurance and obstructing a police officer.
