A delivery company is bucking the trend when it comes to a reported lack of reliability that has plagued the freight delivery sector.
Swindon-based Dash Couriers is leading the charge for greater reliability in the freight delivery sector.
The multi-award-winning firm, led by husband and wife Darren and Shani Moore, is marking its fourth successful year in the industry.
Mrs Moore, who was recently honoured as the Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 by Great British Expos, has more than 25 years of business experience alongside her husband.
The collective team’s dedication to the sector was most recently recognised at the National Courier and Despatch Association (NCDA) Award, where they picked up bronze for The NCDA Independent Courier of the Year of 2024.
The company offers same day and time-critical freight movements throughout the UK.
Mr Moore, co-founder of Dash Couriers, said: "In an industry where service levels frequently fall short, we prioritise driver welfare and accountability as core values, distinguishing ourselves from competitors.
"This dedication has allowed us to fill a gap in the market by delivering exceptional customer service.
"Our success is largely attributed to our fantastic team of dedicated drivers, who are committed to our mission."
Almost three in five people reported issues with late deliveries according to a Citizens Advice survey.
Bad service also led to 31 per cent of customers rating their delivery experience as poor. Dash Couriers, on the other hand, has a 4.8 star Google Reviews rating.
One customer said: "Dash is growing on me more so because they have not just delivered, they’ve serviced a solution for us as a business and our customers.
"Being cheapest isn’t the best, being a brand isn’t the best - doing what you say you are going to do is best. If you need to get a parcel from A-B, try them."
Providing a range of delivery options, Dash Couriers is capable of delivering anything from a single envelope to a truckload of pallets. Collections are available in as little as 30 minutes.
The company's flexibility, coupled with "meticulous attention to detail" and a "future-focused sustainability plan", has attracted a wide range of clients, it said.
Its clientele ranges from small independents and worldwide brands to the NHS and local councils.
It said it "continues to set the standard for reliability and customer satisfaction in the logistics sector".
