A Swindon nursery has said its opening day on Saturday (August 3) was a "great success".
More than 50 families attended the opening of Curious Learners Childcare on Elstree Way in Abbey Meads.
The nursery attracted significant interest from families with nine-month-old babies who are set to benefit from 15 hours of free funded care starting in September.
The day was supported by local authorities and attended by the town's mayor, MP Will Stone and councillors Stanka Adamcova and Matthew Lodge.
The nursery said: "We are excited about the positive impact our childcare services will have on the community."
It is opening following the government’s announcement of new funding for nine-month-olds and two-year-olds.
