The driver of a Mercedes Benz has been charged with multiple traffic offences after being arrested on the M4.
Islam Rina, 24, of Maw Street, Walsall, was arrested in the early hours of this morning, August 6.
He was later charged with failing to stop a vehicle when required by police, driving without a licence and insurance and speeding – exceeding 70mph on the motorway.
He is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on August 21.
This comes after Wiltshire Police launched a summer road safety campaign last week, focusing on the Fatal Five offences - the five offences most likely to cause serious harm.
The campaign carries the message that there is ‘no excuse’ to commit any of these offences.
The fatal five are driving without a seatbelt, speeding, careless driving, drink and drug driving and using a phone behind the wheel.
