A driver claimed they were following their satnav when caught driving the wrong way down a one-way street.
The driver of a black Toyota passed a no-entry sign and was reported by the police.
The driver is one of multiple stopped by Wiltshire’s Road Policing Unit over the past few days amid the force’s Fatal Five crackdown on dangerous driving.

A silver Honda with 10 major defects from their MOT was stopped on the M4. Despite the MOT being over a month ago, the driver had failed to address the defects.
The vehicle was subsequently prohibited and the driver reported “for the dangerous condition of the vehicle”.
A third driver in a white BMW X1 was stopped after police say they spotted the car was insured to a female, but being driven by a male.

Police further discovered that the driver had no insurance or entitlement to drive in the UK.

A number of drivers were also stopped for using their phones behind the wheel. One was driving an HGV on the M4.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We passed him whilst he was busy sending WhatsApp messages whilst driving.
“The consequences of a collision involving a vehicle of this size do not bear thinking about.”
