A Swindon town centre nightclub which was destroyed by a fire last year has now been listed for sale.
Rightmove has listed The Broadwalk, at 32-34 Bridge Street, as a “unique development opportunity in the heart of Swindon town centre” and accepting offers in the region of £400,000.
The derelict building has been listed as coming with outlined planning permission and says the current owners have consent for the demolition of the structure.
These new plans include 19 self-contained apartments – 10 of which will be one-bedroom flats and nine will be two-bedroom apartments – spread across four floors.

Additionally, the proposed plans outline space for commercial units on the ground floor, set to cover 2741.98 sq.ft, as well as a plant room and storage area for bins.
The former nightlife venue, which closed in 2011, was ravaged by a huge fire in March 2023, where more than 40 firefighters from several stations attended the emergency and it was extinguished the next day, almost 12 hours later.
It was also the target of a suspected arson in 2021.
The listing adds: “This property has sustained major fire damage, so no site viewings will be carried out.”
