The owners of a new Highworth convenience store say they are happy with how things are going.
Highworth Liquor and Wine opened recently in Newburgh Place - right next door to a Tesco.
It is the second store owned by business partners Sukhvinder Singh, 33, and Harpreet Singh, 47, after they opened their first store in Bristol in 2022.
"We wanted to expand our business and we were looking for an opening, came to Highworth and found that shop and thought this is it," Sukhvinder said.
The pair now hope to become part of the community and say that the reaction to the store's opening has been great.
"People are so supportive here, we are already doing much better than we expected."
Although the business is called Highworth Liquor and Wine, it functions more as a typical off-license or convenience store
"We have everything," Sukhvinder said.
"We've got toys and sweets for children, family friend stuff, groceries, anything you need from a normal shop we have."
Even though the business is in its early days, it has already received praise from people in online community groups who have said the staff are helpful and friendly.
