Police have been carrying out patrols as part of a crackdown on anti-social behaviour in parts of Swindon.
Officers conducted “reassurance patrols” in the Broadgreen area of the town, as part of an attempt to reduce anti-social behaviour by increasing the force’s “physical presence.”
Wiltshire Police says its officers have also been engaging with members of the community regarding their concerns about ongoing issues.
Any residents with concerns have been encouraged to approach officers when they see them on patrol.
High visibility overnight patrols were also carried out in the town centre.
PC Stone visited the area to speak to people about the Ask for Angela campaign and emphasised the importance of speaking out during uncomfortable, unsafe or inappropriate situations.
PC Stone added: "It's an initiative that allows people who feel unsafe, vulnerable or threatened to ask for help by approaching venue staff and using the “Angela” code word.
"Appropriate assistance will be provided to you to make you safe."
A full list of trained venues and more information on the Ask for Angela project can be found on the Swindon Borough Council website.
