A warrant has been issued for a man accused of coercive behaviour acts after he failed to turn up at court.
Joshua Mayo, 32, of Trenchard Road, Stanton Fitzwarren, is accused of two counts of controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship, one of which includes seven separate behaviours.
He failed to appear for his first hearing at Swindon Magistrates' Court on August 15.
It is alleged that between May 1 and June 23, in Stanton Fitzwarren, he “repeatedly or continuously engaged in behaviour which was controlling or coercive” towards a woman.
The second alleged offence is from the same period.
Mayo was summoned to court by postal requisition sent by first-class post. On August 15, a warrant was issued without bail.
