A park in Swindon has been taken over by an "explosion of colour" all in the name of charity.
Run the Rainbow is an annual 5k running event in Lydiard Park where powdered paint is thrown at runners, joggers and walkers of all ages.
This year, more than 350 participants took part in the event on Saturday, August 17, which included a group warm up led by PureGym.
The colourful event is all about raising money for Prospect Hospice, which provides end-of-life care for more than 330,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north east Wiltshire.
Liz Stallard, one of the runners who took on the challenge, said she was inspired to take part after her uncle was cared for by Prospect Hospice.
"I have always felt honoured to take part in any event to support Prospect," she said.
"I could never repay the level of care given to Uncle H by the hospice or the level of support that I was given, not only during but after his passing and still to this day.
"My family and I will be forever grateful to Prospect Hospice.”
Samantha Taylor, who raised more than £250, ran the route for her mother, who is receiving palliative care with Prospect.
"The hospice is the most incredible place providing an amazing service," she added.
"We are doing all we can to help."
