A new gym offering 24-hour use and affordable memberships is set to 'open soon' in Wiltshire.
The 5500-square-foot gym, named DOMS Fitness, will be opened by two Royal Wootton Bassett residents, Simon and Dom, who share a passion for fitness.
Located between Junction 16 and Royal Wootton Bassett, the gym promises high-spec cardio equipment, a range of free weights, resistance pin and plate-loaded machines, a range of exercise classes and most importantly - affordable prices.
Although the exact location is yet to be confirmed and work to renovate the future gym is ongoing, owners have guaranteed that the site will offer free parking.
"We are excited to announce that we're opening a fresh, new, 24-hour gym," said a spokesperson for DOMS Fitness.
"We aim to have a space that promotes health, wellness and a community gym family to all our members.
"Full location details will be revealed shortly and we will be having an open day so feel free to come down and have a feel of the place, see the facilities and the location and ease any concerns or ask any questions you may have."
The team added: "Bassett has such an amazing community feel which is always evident on the high street when events are happening.
"The community really group together and we would love to harness that to help create a supportive health and fitness space.
"If you run classes in the area, get in touch we'd love to see if we could work together."
The new gym company has emphasised that it is keen to work with other gyms in the town, such as Shedded Fitness, and not replace them.
"We love to see locals supporting small independent businesses," added the spokesperson.
"We don't aim to compete with Shedded Fitness, more to offer a slightly different experience for those that want it.
"Many towns have multiple similar businesses and all continue to thrive."
Membership prices are yet to be confirmed, but the gym will offer 30-day rolling memberships, as well as a pay-as-you-go option.
The business says it is also working towards offering a discount to all 'service heroes' whether that be a blue light or military discount.
