One of the UK's leading supermarkets is set to hire almost 100 staff in Swindon as part of its latest recruitment push.
Aldi has announced that it hopes to hire 80 new workers for its Swindon distribution centre between now and the end of the year.
The recruitment push comes as part of Aldi’s nationwide expansion and the roles currently up for grabs at the Swindon distribution centre cover a wide range of skills and include full-time and part-time work.
Jobs include managerial positions, warehouse selectors and drivers, among others.
“As we continue to attract new customers, we’re looking forward to welcoming even more colleagues to join our distribution centres across the country," said Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK.
“At Aldi, we’re committed to continued investment in the things that matter to our colleagues, such as leading pay along with healthcare and lifestyle perks, and a great working environment.”
The majority of distribution centre roles currently available in Swindon are Warehouse Selectors, and pay for this job is advertised as £13.84 an hour – up from £13.18 in July last year.
However, Aldi's recruitment website includes the full details for each role on offer, including salary and how to apply.
