Torrential rain has hit Wiltshire this Bank Holiday weekend and showers are forecast to continue throughout much of the day.
The heavy rain hit towns and villages across Wiltshire on the morning of Saturday, August 24.
Downpours have seen many residents soaked and drivers should be aware of water pooling on rural roads around the county presenting a hazard.
Heavy rain is expected to continue throughout much of Saturday morning, until around 11am, and should be followed by light rain and showers during the afternoon, according to the Met Office.
The poor weather should clear up later in the day, with sunny intervals predicted from around 4pm until 8pm, when residents around much of Wiltshire should expect a clear night.
Those hoping to head out and make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend may have better luck on Sunday.
While much of the afternoon is expected to be overcast, there is a low chance of precipitation and sunny intervals have been predicted.
Sunny intervals are again expected on Monday, when temperatures are forecast to reach as high as 21 degrees.
