An Audi driver crashed into a field near Swindon after falling asleep at the wheel.
The tired motorist was at junction 16 of the M4 when they drove off the road - but managed to avoid injuring themselves or someone else.
Wiltshire Specialist Ops posted the incident on social media and reinforced the dangers of driving while tired.
The post read: “Thankfully no injuries but the stark reality of driving tired.”
Anybody found asleep at the wheel could face an unlimited fine, penalty points, a driving ban and up to 14 years in prison.
