Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after three armed males broke into a supermarket near Swindon.
The Co-op store on Station Road in Purton was targeted at approximately 3.30am on August 27 and officers were alerted by the alarm and a passer-by.
When they entered the store, they discovered the door had been damaged and two cash boxes appeared to have been stolen.
Police have issued descriptions of the people they would like to speak to.
The first suspect is described as a white, stocky male, around 5ft 8ins tall, who was holding a crowbar and wearing a blue jacket, black trousers, black shoes, a black scarf around his face, a black hat and white gloves.
The second suspect is described as a white, stocky male, also approximately 5ft 8ins tall wearing black trousers, black shoes, a blue jacket and a black scarf covering his face with white gloves on his hands and he appeared to be carrying some sort of screwdriver.
Then the third suspect is described as a white male around 5ft 8ins tall wearing blue trousers, black shoes, a black scarf covering his face and white gloves and he was carrying a small crowbar.
Crime scene investigators attended the scene and enquiries are still ongoing.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information or anyone who was passing the area around the time who may have dash cam footage, should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240100740.
“Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
