Swindon Paint Fest isn't quite here yet, but already work is starting around town to transform drab spaces into colourful works of art

The now-annual local event sees some of the best local, national and international street artists descend on Swindon - find a blank bit of wall or building in need of some life - and do their thing.

Pearl Lucia Barcoe has been out and about in the town centre and has captured some of the artists beginning work on their murals.

She said: "Who's excited for this years Swindon Paint Fest? If you have been around the town centre you would have spotted two fantastic murals already underway ahead of next weekend's festival.
