An angry driver reversed into a woman who was worried about the dog in his car.
Police say that at some point between 7am and 9am on July 25, a woman in her 50s saw a dog in a parked silver car on Birch Street and was concerned about its welfare.
She tried the door handles and a man then started shouting at her.
He got into the car and reversed, knocking the woman and her walking aid to the floor and injuring her head, side and leg.
The vehicle then drove away from the scene of the confrontation.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "If you can help with our enquiries please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240087196.
