A popular fish and chip shop in Swindon has received a new food hygiene rating.
Inspectors from Swindon Borough Council visited the Trident Fish Bar at the bottom of Victoria Road on August 14.
The Food Standards Agency has now published the results of that inspection.
All three categories - hygienic food handling, management of food safety, and the cleanliness and condition of the building - were found to be of a good standard at the premises.
Overall, the chippy received the highest possible rating, a full five out of five, classed as Very Good.
This means that of Swindon's 134 takeaways with ratings, 99 (74 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
The nearby Tikka Tikka restaurant also received top marks and was found to have the same high standard of quality in all three categories after inspectors visited and had a look around on August 21.
