Police have arrested and de-arrested two people after being called to a street in Swindon.
The incident happened on Saturday, September 7 when police responded to a report from a member of the public at around 3.20pm.
Police said the report claimed that two people - one of whom appeared to be carrying a baton or machete - entered a building on Cunningham Road.
Neighbours saw several police vehicles fill the street, including armed officers.
Police confirmed they arrested two people on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson added: "However, they were subsequently de-arrested after being spoken to by officers.
"There were no reported injuries. Our enquiries are ongoing.
"We would like to hear from anyone who was in the Cunningham Road area at the time on Saturday who may have witnessed what took place.

A witness told the Adver: "It's on the whole a quiet neighbourhood without much trouble. Seeing and hearing what was happening only feet away from our property made me feel on edge."
