A Swindon man has been charged after hundreds of pounds of alcohol were stolen from a convenience store popular on social media.
Connor Carter, 23, Pasteur Drive, Old Town, is also alleged to have threatened staff at Premier Convenience Store on Okus Road on the evening of Wednesday, September 11.
The shop has over a thousand followers on its Instagram account where it shares the unusual products it sells.
In over 500 posts, the shop has shared rare drinks and snacks, often sourced from overseas, available in the store.
Examples include marshmallow Pepsi, Tango Ice Blast, Tiramisu Baileys and Strawberry Coca-Cola from China.
Carter has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on September 13.
