A unique Shakespeare performance is set to entertain Swindon theatre-goers.
The production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Sh!t-faced Shakespeare is coming to the town’s Wyvern Theatre on October 2.
It is part of a UK autumn tour, following its summer season at the Leicester Square Theatre.
The show promises a different experience every night as a rotating cast member performs while inebriated.
The cast includes Julia Bird, Natalie Boakye, Eugene Evans, Charlie Keable, Princess Donnough, John Mitton, James Murfitt, Beth-Louise Priestley, and Stephanie Simpson.
The production, originally directed and adapted by Lewis Ironside, is now directed by Stacey Norris.
It is produced by Johanna Rigg, Ms Norris, and Ms Priestley for Leicester Square Theatre.
The show also boasts dance choreography by Ms Priestley, fight choreography by Robbie Capaldi, lighting design by Tom Williams, set design by Nicola Jones, and costume design by Lorna Jean Costumes.
Other tour venues in the region include Bath on November 5, offering audiences in the South West another chance to catch the show.
The autumn tour will begin on September 26 in Aldershot and run for 33 nights before it closes in Henley on November 15.
