A Swindon football club has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with a new homes developer.
Swindon Supermarine FC’s new deal with Persimmon Homes Wessex under the developer’s Community Champions initiative will be used to support the club’s teams.
It will also see a visible presence from Persimmon around the club’s Webbswood Stadium.
The Community Champions scheme by Persimmon Homes Wessex donates £24,000 each year to a range of community organisations and good causes in the areas it develops.
Martin Palmer, chief executive of Swindon Supermarine FC, said: “It’s really exciting to have the support of a brand like Persimmon Homes.
“Persimmon’s support will help us deliver on our vision for the club.”
Pauline Fletcher, sales director at Persimmon Homes Wessex, said: “Football clubs like Swindon Supermarine FC play an important role in bringing local communities together so we are delighted to hear the donation will make a difference to the whole club.
“Our Community Champions scheme is all about supporting the areas we operate in, and as a prominent housebuilder in Swindon our mission continues to be about leaving a positive legacy for the local community."
