Technical issues which left people unable to get through to police on the phone have been fixed.
On Tuesday, September 16, a number of issues concerning 101 calls were reported in Wiltshire, as callers were unable to get through.
Although the 999 emergency call service was still answered as usual, non-emergency calls to 101 were unavailable from approximately 11.30am on Tuesday.
"The matter is being looked into and we will update you as soon as we can," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
However, the non-emergency call service had returned to normal by approximately 1.30pm.
According to Wiltshire Police, this short outage was due to 'technical issues' which were quickly resolved.
