A man from Devon has been charged with multiple child sex offences in Wiltshire, including arranging child sex.
Jon Iacamino, from Honiton in Devon, was arrested by police officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit on September 16 in Wiltshire.
The 55-year-old who was arrested by the online investigations team appeared in Swindon Magistrate's Court just one day later, where he has now been charged with six child sex offences.
These include two offences of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, two offences of making an indecent image of a child and two offences of distributing an indecent image of a child.
Iacamino has now been remanded in custody in Swindon and is next due to appear before Swindon Crown Court on Friday, October 18.
"My team works alongside a national network of officers tackling offences online, including child sexual abuse and exploitation," said Detective Inspector David Wells, from the investigations team that initially arrested Iacamino.
"We are relentless in our pursuit of people intent on committing these heinous crimes.”
