Three men have been arrested after a man was robbed at knife point in Swindon.

At approximately 1:15pm on Sunday, September 15, a man in his 20s was walking along Burbage Road in Penhill when he was approached from behind by two males on electric bikes.

One of the men pulled out a knife from his pocket and demanded the victim to hand over his money, but he was not injured.

The pair appear to have been disturbed by a member of the public who walked around the corner at the time.

An 18-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following the incident.

PC McGuigan said: “We understand the males were disturbed by a woman who was walking in the area at the time – she is believed to have been wearing a pink top. If this was you, please get in touch as you may be able to help with our enquiries.
