Staff at a nursery in Swindon say they are delighted by the results of their latest Ofsted rating.
Busy Bees Nursery in Broome Manor was visited by Ofsted inspectors on Thursday, August 8 and was deemed good, retaining the same rating as their previous inspection on October 17, 2018.
The nursery was praised for its curriculum, range of children’s activities, dedicated staff and welcoming, safe and friendly environment.
Centre Director Michelle Harris said: “In August our Swindon Broome Nursery was visited by Ofsted inspectors. The Ofsted team talked with staff and parents and watched our staff engaging with children throughout the day so they got a good picture of everything that goes on in our nursery.

"We are really pleased that as a result of the visit the Ofsted team rated us as good in all areas, and Busy Bees Broome has now been rated as Good since 2018.
“We are delighted with the overall outcome and also the positive comments within the Ofsted report following their visit. The inspectors saw for themselves how eagerly the children arrive at the nursery and how warmly they are welcomed.
"It is really important that children feel safe and happy with us and I want to say a big thank you to my staff team for working so hard to achieve this.
“The Ofsted report highlighted the close relationships children develop with their allocated key person and how new babies are very sensitively helped to settle in. The positive and supportive relationship with parents ensures that children's individual needs are closely met.
“Autumn is a lovely time for children as they go outdoors to see and explore the changing seasons with all the colours that autumn brings. We are always looking for ways to get children interested in the world around them and we’ve been really fortunate recently to have had visits to the nursery from Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service as well as the police and ambulance services."
Michelle added: "Children love learning what people do and it stimulates their imagination. Our new Bee Curious Curriculum is proving a big hit and helps our staff to increase their focus on inspiring children's curiosity, motivation and learning.
"The programme focuses in on areas such as vocabulary, developing a love of stories, and understanding basic mathematical concepts and all of these are directly linked to better outcomes in life.”
