A child required hospital treatment after being bitten by a dog outside a Wiltshire supermarket.
Police are appealing for help to identify the animal in a newly-released photograph.
The owner of the canine is believed to be "an older man" who officers would like to speak to.
The incident is said to have happened last month.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this dog?
"We would like to trace the dog and speak to its owners following reports of a dog bite to a child's leg.
"The child required hospital treatment for minor physical injuries.
"The incident happened outside Tesco Express on Harrier Place in Calne on August 29 at 8.10am.
"The owner is believed to be an older man.
