TV stalwarts Chris Kamara and Ben Shephard were spotted at a North East attraction yesterday (Friday, September 21).
Taking time out of their busy schedules, the pair met visitors at Teesside Park's Ninja Warrior assault course, encouraging people to get down and give it a go.
Chris and Ben said the park was "the closest to the real Ninja Warrior experience that you can get outside of the TV studio", and commented that it was "superb" for Teesside to have such an asset.
Both TV presenters had worked together on ITV's popular Ninja Warrior UK show and were delighted to welcome guests to try their hand at the famous assault course.
The show's success has led to the opening of Ninja Warrior Adventure Parks across the UK, with over one million people visiting one of the parks in the last year
Chris Kamara, who grew up in the Park End region of Middlesbrough, was also spotted on Darlington's Duke Street, where he chatted to a group of teens who approached him for a picture.
Chris said: "It is fabulous because the kids get exercise rather than just being on their phones or tablets - they're actually doing something physical!
"They end up absolutely shattered - and you put them to bed knowing they got good fitness and enjoyment out of it."
"When I was growing up there was nothing like this. Middlesbrough was always the last place in the world to get anything.
"So to be ahead of so many towns and cities, for this to be built in the area is absolutely superb. All of the North East can come and enjoy this. This is an absolute gem for the area."

Ben added: "It's all about spending time with the family, and the parents can get on the course as well - it's competitive, it's fun, it's challenging. You will always leave with a big old smile on your face.
"As Kammy says, put your phones down, put your screens down, and just joke and run around and get hot and sweaty.
"Teesside has one of, if not the, best Ninja Warrior parks in the world. It has the biggest wall outside the TV studio - I think it's 16 feet high. Compared to the TV studio, this is the closest you're going to get!"
