You can meet Swindon Town FC players at an EA sports event at a local toy shop today.
You may have gamed with their likenesses on FC25 (formerly known as FIFA), but on September 27 you will have the chance to meet the real people.
Smyths Toys in Greenbridge Retail & Leisure Park is hosting a “local team in-store meet and greet” event from 4-5pm as one of many hosted across the country.
While details are scant, it says: “Head down to select Smyths Toys for the chance to meet and greet your local team.”
Last year, young Swindon Town fans were thrilled to meet one of their footballing heroes when striker Charlie Austin was at a similar event last year.
The event is to promote the latest edition in the football video game series in which the League Two side is rated one star with the highest-ranked player being centre defensive midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh.
