A shop in the Swindon area could merge with its neighbour if a new application is approved.
Sinthuja Poopalasingam has made an application to the licensing authority for Swindon by to vary the premises licence issued in respect of 4 and 6 Comet Way in Wroughton.
The application seeks to allow for the two premises to become one shop.
Currently, number 4 is the Alexandra Convenience Store and number 6 is Arham Overseas Consultancy Ltd.
The full application may be inspected at the Swindon Borough Council Civic Offices on Euclid Street in Swindon, SN1 2JH between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
Responsible authorities, and/or other persons (e.g. people/business living or working within the vicinity) can make representations at any time until October 14, 2024.
All representations must be made in writing (including email or fax), to the Licensing Authority, at the above address or by email to licensing@swindon.gov.uk.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application, for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
