Asda has launched its Breast Cancer Awareness Month across Wiltshire and the rest of its UK stores.

The Tickled Pink campaign will see more than 200 products, including big brands like Diet Coke, Heinz Baked Beans, Marmite, Walkers Crisps, and Shreddies cereal change their packaging to pink.

The campaign, which has been running for 28 years, has raised £92 million for breast cancer charities Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!.

The products also show support by donating a portion of their sales to breast cancer charities, while some include breast cancer awareness messaging on their packaging.

The campaign was launched with an exclusive t-shirt designed by Amy Dowden, a Strictly star and breast cancer campaigner.

The t-shirts feature a bow design and a 'love from Amy' message with her handwritten signature.

In more than 205 Asda cafes, customers can treat themselves to two free Warburtons crumpets, which are also supporting the Tickled Pink campaign.

The offer is available from September 19 to October 16, with a minimum £1 spend, and £150,000 is being donated to the campaign.

Asda reward customers who purchase four products from the Tickled Pink range will receive £1 back in their cash pot.

Kris Comerford, Asda’s chief merchandising officer, said: "We are proud to have so many of our suppliers supporting this year’s Tickled Pink campaign and turning their iconic brands pink.

"It’s set to be one of our biggest ever years with over 200 products available both in stores and online, giving customers the opportunity to donate by purchasing everyday household and clothing items.

"For the second year running, Asda reward customers who purchase four products from the Tickled Pink range will also receive £1 back in their cash pot."

Rachael Franklin, director of fundraising, communications, and engagement at Breast Cancer Now, added: "It’s incredible to see so many amazing brands turning pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, helping us to raise vital awareness and funds for breast cancer treatments, vital education and life-changing support.

"This year marks the 28th year of our Asda Tickled Pink partnership with over £92 million raised – which is a fantastic achievement and enables us to make a huge difference for the 55,000 women and 400 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK."
