A local pottery teacher will be hosting her first market event of the year at a Swindon pub.
Lisa Lowe, owner of Ooh Lovely Lilo Ceramics, has organised Shop Small Swindon for the last four years, showcasing various arts and crafts from nearly 200 talented artists.
Her first event of the year on October 5 will be at The Hop Inn pub in Old Town, with stalls located upstairs and outside in the courtyard.
Lisa said: “I am so proud of this achievement. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, all-inclusive market that brings beautiful arts and crafts to Swindon’s Old Town.
“We run a market with a difference popping up at The Hop Inn pub, it’s the perfect venue as you can have a drink, food and just enjoy the market’s vibe.
“Every event features the best locally handcrafted items, each month we have 20+ stalls and make sure they are varied, to give the customer a stall holder a great shopping day experience.
“I love working with the amazing artists and designers who attend Shop Small – they are all fabulous. As long as the customers keep coming an enjoying the market, I will keep running it.”
The event will run from 11am to 4pm and there are two other markets scheduled this year on Saturday, November 2 and November 30.
